I Guess She Won’t Be Helping After All…
What do you guys mean, you want to get the hedges trimmed, the closets in order, the boxes unpacked, the office organized and the kitchen cabinets, doors and moldings wiped down? All of that this weekend? Really? No thanks.
I prefer to just sit here staring out the window, contemplating how exactly to get to that darned squirrel, or that feisty blue jay…
You do realize it’s a holiday weekend right? Your favorite holiday? The one that’s supposed to be filled with beer and barbecue and those bright, noisy things in the sky? Really, no thanks.
I’ll be in the way, for sure. But I’ll take naps here and there. Like.. now. Have fun doing all that stuff this weekend, I’ll be here, on this ottoman, soaking up the sun.
*yaaaawn* Hey, can you open the blinds a bit? I need to work on my tan.

She looks like she wants outside. Perhaps you could give her to some nice kids who live on a farm, far, far away? Horrible creature.

I like Kira’s post on your blog. She sounds like Minxy. Except Minx would say, “Oh, you wanted to work on this? Well then let me take a nap right on top of it.”
Haha, yea, Amanda, Kira would do that too. She likes to firmly plant herself right in the way. Such a brat.
