I Promise I’m Not Dead…
So, how bad have I been with keeping this thing updated? Here I thought that I would be updating every couple of days and I can barely keep up with one post a week!
Things have gotten a bit crazy — work has been busier than usual, so I don’t have much free time to putz around on the blog; plus I’ve had to go to the world of retail for a part time job at the mall. Can we say ugh? I am not a retail person!
So, working 60 hours a week sort of puts the blog on the back burner. I’m hoping I can get some posts in here and there for the back log so that I don’t have this problem, but who knows. All I can say is that this is a hobby and I gotta do the adult thing, and stay on top of work work work!

Sorry to hear that – this time of the year is so hectic! I’m also thinking of getting a part time job at the mall. Gasp. Tysons Galleria, here I come…

Yea.. I’m over at Fair Oaks Mall. The cast of Twilight New Moon were there last night, right outside my store. Can we say ugh?

Boo having to work retail! I have to admit, last week I was eying the sign at the Michael’s in the Pan Am shopping center in Fairfax that said they were hiring.
But with almost four jobs as it is, I think I’m pretty swamped–I’m working at two small historic sites (one out in Loudoun County and the other in Old Town Alexandria), helping out a jewelry designer in Alex. for a second holiday season, and doing some sewing for the first-person interpreters at Mount Vernon…ack!
